But, when a woman is hired to be Ron Burgundy’s co-host, he starts a bitter feud with her. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is home to timeless jokes and stars comedy big wigs, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell.
2.) Some Like It Hot
The second comedy movie on our list is an older film, but it is too great to not include. While most people are familiar with this movie since it stars Marilyn Monroe, it has a truly special plot line, which takes you on an adventure. The film opens up with two musicians who witness a mob hit. In order to successfully flee the state, they decide to join an all-female band. Since they join an all-female band, they disguise themselves as women. But, then one of them falls for Sugar (Marilyn Monroe’s character). This film is full of scenarios that resemble the infamous movie, Mrs. Doubtfire, as well as classic jokes.
3.) Step Brothers
The next comedy movie on our list is truly a gem. Step Brothers follows the lives of two middle-aged men, Brennan Huff and Dale Doback, who still live at home. When Brennan Huff’s mom marries Dale Doback’s dad, the men are forced to move in together. Initially, Brennan and Dale resent each other. But, then Brennan and Dale realize they have more in common then they thought. Step Brother’s is a movie full of one hilarious scenes after another, and features the hilarious Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, and Adam Scott.
4.) There’s Something About Mary
The fourth comedy movie on our list is There’s Something About Mary. There’s Something About Mary chronicles Ted’s life. The movie begins with a high school version of Ted, getting married with his dream girl, Mary. Needless to say, the date is a complete disaster. Years later, Ted gets a chance to meet up with Mary. But, Ted’s idea of the perfect date with Mary comes with a whirlwind of twists and obstacles. You will find yourself constantly cracking up during this romantic comedy that features Cameron Diaz, Matt Damon, and Ben Stiller.
5.) White Chicks
If someone knows how to do comedy, it’s the Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans. In this hilarious film, the Wayans Brothers play Marcus and Kevin Copeland, FBI agents who have a history of catching the “wrong guys”. After their latest failed case, their chief force Marcus and Kevin to ensure that a pair of socialites, who are heiresses to a sought after hotel, safely make it to the Hamptons. But, when a few mishaps make the socialites upset, they refuse to continue their trip to the Hamptons. With their jobs on the line, Marcus and Kevin decide to transform themselves into the socialites. So, the Copeland brothers leave the socialites in a hotel, and head to the Hamptons, as the socialites. There, they discover it isn’t easy standing in for a pair of socialites. White Chicks is full of one-liners, hilarious scenarios, and twist and turns that will leave your stomach hurting from constantly laughing throughout this movie.
